NC State University in Raleigh, NC seeks a Driver for the Global Training Initiative (GTI) to transport international visitors between accommodations, training sites, and events. The role requires evening and weekend availability and a careful, courteous approach to safety and service.
Responsibilities include maintaining GTI buses, coordinating with staff, and ensuring timely transfers. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
The person in this role will help with airport pick-up/drop-off as well as scheduled events for NC State international visitors participating in a GTI and other international program. The selected candidate will transport program participants to/from their temporary accommodations, training locations, and other scheduled activities. The selected candidate must have flexibility in availability as evening and weekend hours will be required. Hours will vary based on program needs.
