Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Oklahoma City. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer, inspect equipment, and deliver products to customers while complying with DOT regulations.

This role emphasizes reliability, accuracy in paperwork, and professional customer interactions. The position offers competitive pay with an annual average around $85,000, day-one benefits including medical/dental/vision, life insurance, vacation and sick leave, and programs like tuition

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report.
• Verify bill of lading and store keys for accuracy on delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination per regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer sites.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor‑trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off‑hour delivery.
• Drive tractor‑trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL‑A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor‑trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
