Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to move products to customers across our nationwide network. You will inspect, drive, and deliver, following DOT regulations and safety procedures, with regular routes and on-time deliveries.

We offer paid holidays, medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a 4‑day work week with no Saturdays. Experienced drivers can earn $100K+ with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level; follow safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document delivery details.
• Unload trailer and deliver product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Benefits you can count on:

• Pay Rate: Drivers average $90,000 to $95,000 per year.
• Experienced drivers can earn over $100K.

Drivers are scheduled for 4 day work weeks and no Saturdays.

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
