HELP USA is seeking a Driver for our temporary housing sites on Randalls and Wards Islands, New York. You will transport staff and residents to appointments, pick up and deliver program goods, and maintain a vehicle log while ensuring vehicles are clean and safe.
The job requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Class D driver’s license. You’ll follow COVID precautions, log passenger temperatures, and adhere to reduced passenger guidelines to keep everyone safe.

As a Driver for one of our temporary housing sites, you’ll be responsible for transporting staff and residents to appointments and picking up and delivering program goods as needed. You’ll maintain a vehicle log for all trips and inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure that they’re clean and maintained in safe and efficient operating condition. We’re very concerned about keeping our residents and employees safe, so you’ll take COVID precautions such as making sure that everyone in the vehicle wears a mask properly, taking and logging passenger temperatures, and following reduced passenger number guidance.
Class D driver’s license.
Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
