The Pennant Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified Driver to join our team serving residents at Cardinal Lane, Parkside Senior Living, Maple Meadows, and Lakepointvilla.

The driver will transport residents to appointments and activities with care and safety as top priorities. The role requires helping residents in and out of vehicles and buildings, securing wheelchairs, and coordinating with supervisors on any service disruptions.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid driver license and clean driving history.
• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Prior experience in a health care facility is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Transports residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Assists residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor’s offices.
• Assists all departments with delivery and pickup of related items (x-rays, pharmaceuticals, medical records, mail, etc.) while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicates with supervisor or designee about any service disruptions.
• Keeps vehicle clean and reports repairs or hazards to supervisor.
• Remains flexible for special occasions and schedules.

About the Opportunity

• Transports residents to and from appointments and activities.
• Secures passengers’ wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.
• Assists disabled and/or elderly residents in and out of vehicle and in and out of buildings and doctor’s offices when appropriate.
• Assists all departments in the delivery and pick-up of other related work items, i.e., x-rays, pharmaceuticals, medical records, mail drop off, etc., while adhering to HIPPA guidelines.
• Communicates with supervisor or other designee upon disruption of service for any reason.
• Cleans and services vehicle with lubricants, fuel, and accessories.
• Reports all vehicle repairs, and/or any unsafe or hazardous situations immediately to supervisor.
• Remains flexible and available for special occasions and special schedules.
• Uses tact and understanding with facility personnel, residents, family members, and outside community contacts.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Must have, as a minimum, 2 year(s) experience in a health care facility.
• Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Must possess a valid driver license and clean driving history.
