Global Medical Response (GMR) is hiring Ambulance Operators (Driver) in Purvis, MS for full-time emergency and non-emergency transportation, delivering high-quality care and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities include responding to dispatch requests, documenting trips, maintaining a safe vehicle, and coordinating with healthcare and public safety teams to ensure timely and compliant transport.

Responsibilities

• Communicate using standard radio transmission codes and follow information security standards.
• Operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, and wheelchair; manage supplies.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, drivers and operations team.

We’re hiringAmbulance Operators that will respond to emergency and/or non-emergency requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.

• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.

• Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.

• Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company’s information security standards.

• Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.

• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.

MinimumRequiredQualifications:

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
