Job summary

Clarendale West End is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to support residents with transportation to groceries, outings, and extended trips. The role includes light housekeeping duties as needed and ensuring safety during transit.

The schedule is part-time, mainly Monday through Thursday, with some weekend or evening hours. Compensation offered is $18.50 per hour, reflecting a customer-service oriented environment in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required.

Responsibilities

• Drive SUV or Ford Transit Van on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Clarendale West End is recruiting for a hospitality focused Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for transporting residents to grocery store, monthly outings and extended trips as scheduled; assists in performing housekeeping duties as required.

Schedule: Part-time opportunity, primarily Monday - Thursday 9:30am-3:00pm or 10:00am-3:30pm with occasional weekend or evening hours

Salary: $18.50/hour
