Job summary

Hearthwood Senior Living is seeking a hospitality-focused Driver to transport residents on shopping trips, outings and extended trips as scheduled. This on-site role requires certified CDL, a high school diploma or GED, and at least six months of bus/van driving experience.

You will help residents board and disembark safely, assist with equipment, load groceries, and coordinate vehicle maintenance while contributing to a friendly, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• CDL is required.
• 6 months of bus/van driving experience required.
• Frontline hospitality or resident-focused service experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on a regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Transport residents to shopping trips and weekly outings Monday, Wednesday and Friday as well as medical trips on Tuesday and Thursday.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
