Job summary

Lakes-Regional-Community-Center in Mount Pleasant, TX is seeking a Clinic Driver to provide transportation services for clients. Responsibilities include monitoring clients during transport, completing transport documentation, and coordinating vehicle upkeep. This role is part of an administrative support team and may require evening hours as needed.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. Requirements: high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and Defensive Driving Certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess current driver’s license and Defensive Driving Certificate.
• Experience in human service field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services to clients and monitor them during transport.
• Complete transport time documentation and ensure safety checks.
• Coordinate vehicle upkeep and maintenance; travel outside catchment area as needed.
• Support office communications and other tasks as assigned.

This position provides a range of transportation services to clients. This includes monitoring clients during tran sport and informing OMHP/LPHA/Clinic RN/Clinic director of problematic behaviors. Duties include, but are not limited to, transportation, courier duties, coordination of vehicle upkeep, monitoring clients during transport, documentation of transport time, and safety duties to include vehicle checks and maintenance of vehicles. Transportation includes travel outside the catchment area. Clinic Driver is part of an administrative support team and will also provide back-up support duties such as office communications & other tasks. Position will be available as needed during evening hours.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm flex

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires applicant be a high school graduate or GED required with processing skills for both entry and output proficiencies. Must possess current driver's license and Defensive Driving Certificate. Experience in human service field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and work well with the team.
