Job summary

Lakes Regional is seeking a Clinic Driver to provide transportation services for clients and support the administrative team. You will monitor clients during transport, document times, and perform safety checks on vehicles, with occasional travel outside the catchment area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with Defensive Driving certification, and preferred bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Evening availability may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in human services preferred.
• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation services to clients and perform courier duties.
• Monitor clients during transport and inform clinic staff of any issues.
• Coordinate vehicle upkeep and perform safety checks.
• Document transport times and maintain accurate records.
• Travel outside the catchment area as needed.
• Back-up support duties such as office communications and related tasks.

Job description

This position provides a range of transportation services to clients. This includes monitoring clients during transport and informing OMHP/LPHA/Clinic RN/Clinic director of problematic behaviors. Duties include, but are not limited to, transportation, courier duties, coordination of vehicle upkeep, monitoring clients during transport, documentation of transport time, and safety duties to include vehicle checks and maintenance of vehicles. Transportation includes travel outside the catchment area. Clinic Driver is part of an administrative support team and will also provide back-up support duties such as office communications & other tasks. Position will be available as needed during evening hours.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm flex

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires applicant be a high school graduate or GED required with processing skills for both entry and output proficiencies. Must possess current driver's license and Defensive Driving Certificate. Experience in human service field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prefer bilingual skills (English/Spanish) and work well with the team.
