Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers in Texas to help move and deliver products to customers. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain logs, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. This full-time role in Lubbock offers Day 1 benefits and strong career growth.

You will drive tractor-trailers, comply with DOT regulations, and support unloading at customer sites. McLane emphasizes safety and customer relationships across the nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license
• At least 21 years old
• Minimum 1 year (50,000 miles) tractor-trailer experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating
• Ability to read, write and understand English

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT report.
• Inspect bill of lading and keys for delivery accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Unload products at customer premises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
