Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Florida is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products to customers and support our nationwide distribution network.

You will inspect equipment, log DOT-compliant records, and deliver safely with emphasis on accuracy and service. We offer up to $75,000 per year in total pay (component and hourly), with day-1 medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) profit sharing after 90 days, and generous time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must meet McLane MVR and risk rating qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
