McLane Company, Inc. in Pharr, TX is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products for America's favorite brands. You’ll be valued for safety, reliability and customer service while enjoying competitive pay and steady home time.

This full-time role offers 4–5 day weeks (Mon–Sat availability). Day-1 benefits include medical, dental and vision, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance, plus two weeks vacation, holidays after 90 days, and other programs.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT reports.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safe driving practices.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document temperatures/ exceptions.
• Unload trailer at customer sites and perform related duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
