Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers in Little Rock, AR. You will inspect tractors, verify bills of lading, and deliver products to customer locations, following DOT regulations and safety practices.

We offer competitive pay ranging from $75,000 to $105,000 per year, sign-on bonuses up to $10,000, comprehensive benefits from Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision, and a 401(k) with company contributions.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL-A.
• 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT report.
• Inspect bill of lading and keys for accuracy during off-hour deliveries.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safety practices.
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations and document deliveries.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $75,000 to $105,000, depending on route sizes.

• Home daily: Route schedule will vary. CDL A Delivery drivers will need to be available for overnight loads.

What You’ll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
