Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. is seeking compassionate Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant/ Driver to join our senior living community in California. You will support daily activities, engage residents, help document programs and transport residents to appointments and events.

The role emphasizes creating a friendly, homelike environment, encouraging participation, and delivering quality experiences for residents across independent living, memory care and assisted settings.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting activities for seniors in a care setting.
• Ability to encourage resident participation and social engagement.
• Capable of documenting and developing activity programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs.
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from locations such as medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community.
• Must pass health screens such as Physical, TB, Drug test.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
