Job summary

Hudson Milestones in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a reliable Driver to safely transport individuals with developmental disabilities to community programs and appointments. You will assist passengers in entering and exiting the vehicle and maintain transportation records.

This full-time position offers 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, at $20.00 per hour. The role includes a comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); paid time off; family medical leave)

Qualifications

• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate agency vehicles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and organized work habits.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Ability to pass required background checks and driving record reviews.

Hudson Milestones is seeking a reliable and compassionate Driver to support individuals with developmental disabilities by providing safe and dependable transportation services throughout Hudson County.

This position plays an important role in helping individuals access community programs, appointments, recreational activities, and other essential services while ensuring their safety and comfort.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely transport individuals to and from scheduled destinations
• Assist passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
• Maintain accurate transportation records and schedules
• Conduct routine vehicle safety inspections
• Follow all agency policies and traffic regulations
• Communicate effectively with staff, individuals served, and families

Position Details

Full-Time, 30 hours per week

Monday – Friday

$20.00 per hour
