Job summary

Sonida Senior Living's ROSEMONT community in Humble, TX, is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport residents between stops and assist them in and out of vehicles. You will operate clean, safe vehicles and support in-house activities under supervision, ensuring residents are free from abuse and treated with dignity.

The role emphasizes courteous interaction with residents, reliability, and a responsible, positive representation of the community at all times.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL endorsement preferred where necessary.
• Ability to bend, push, pull, and ER in excess of 50lbs, as necessary to perform required tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking up and delivering residents to the routed stops. Assists residents in and out of vehicles.
• Operates vehicles in a safe and clean fashion.
• May assist the Activity Director with in-house activities, including planning and organizing, arranging furniture, decorating, and the general setup for activity programs.
• Ensures that residents are free from abuse, mistreatment, and neglect. Reports any such instance to the Executive Director.
• Acts as a positive representative of the community at all times.
