Job summary

BOX Partners has an immediate need for Class A CDL Drivers for our Elgin, Illinois distribution center, located near I-90 and Randall Road. The role involves safely transporting products while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining DOT compliance.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 2:30 P.M. - 11:00 P.M. Pay: Starting at $32.00 per hour. This full-time position offers benefits and competitive compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Previous commercial driving experience required.
• Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport products to customers and distribution locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load, unload, and secure freight as required.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and required DOT logs.
• Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel.
• Keep vehicles clean and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a commercial vehicle.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
