Job summary

1-800-GOT-JUNK? in California is seeking dependable, energetic people to earn strong pay while doing non-routine junk removal and customer service.

You’ll work with a teammate, meet customers at homes or businesses, discuss pricing, and drive between appointments along your route.

This role blends customer service, sales, and physical labor, with paid training, flexible schedules (full-time or part-time), tips and performance bonuses, and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

You’ll spend your shifts out in the community working alongside a teammate, meeting different customers, and helping clear out homes and businesses. It’s a combination of driving, customer service, sales, and physical work.

Here’s What You Can Expect:

• $29–$33/hr average earnings with hourly pay, tips, and performance bonuses

Your Day Will Include:

• Meeting customers at homes and businesses
• Learning what they need removed and walking them through our service
• Providing pricing and helping customers make decisions
• Driving between appointments throughout your route
• Removing furniture, appliances, and other unwanted items
• Safely lifting and carrying items weighing 75+ lbs
• Finding opportunities to donate or recycle reusable items
• Keeping in touch with dispatch as the day progresses

You’ll Need To:

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a valid California driver's license
• Maintain a clean driving history for the previous 3 years
• Be comfortable with customer-facing conversations
• Be capable of performing physical work throughout your shift
• Be dependable and work well alongside others
• Have availability for at least one weekend day
• Have a smartphone capable of downloading company apps

Experience in delivery, customer service, retail, sales, warehouse, moving, hospitality, landscaping, operations, construction, or general labor can translate well to what we do.
