Job summary

soar-restaurants-sonic in Radcliff, KY is seeking a General Manager/Operating Partner to lead the drive-in’s operations and supervise the team. This exempt, high-responsibility role requires hands-on leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience and drive profitability.

You will recruit and hire staff, schedule and coach employees, manage costs, oversee opening/closing duties, ensure compliance with laws, and develop local marketing plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced studies in business, restaurant management, or related fields preferred.
• At least 3 years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision.
• Experience recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and managing employees.
• Knowledge of labor laws (federal, state and local).
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
• Basic math, accounting, and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, manage, coach and lead employees.
• Supervise and manage all drive-in operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Manage opening and closing duties and scheduling.
• Handle guest and employee issues escalations.
• Control costs: food, labor, paper, and inventory.
• Lead regular team meetings on standards and service.
• Maintain drive-in records and operational reports.
• Develop and manage local marketing and performance plans.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment and compliance with policies and laws.
