Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Longview, Texas, seeks an experienced General Manager to lead a fast-paced team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will supervise crew, carhops and management while ensuring safety, cleanliness and efficiency across all shifts.

You will develop staffing plans, manage inventories and payroll records, and drive initiatives to improve service quality and profitability. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
• Minimum of two years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred).
• Ability to work a minimum 5 day workweek with irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Familiarity with federal and state labor laws and local health/sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and supervisory skills; able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs drive-in employees to meet operational standards of food service.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties; prepares staff schedules.
• Maintains inventory and places orders within cost control procedures.
• Maintains payroll records and employment-related documents.
• Develops and implements a marketing plan.
• Interviews and hires staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
