Job summary

Findlay Auto Group in Henderson, NV is seeking experienced journeyman technicians to support a booming service department in a high-volume shop. We offer a competitive signing bonus for the right person and value veterans entering the industry.

As part of our team you will diagnose, repair, and test vehicles, perform warranty work to manufacturer specifications, and communicate with the Service Advisor about required additional repairs and timelines.

Qualifications

• Certified automotive technician with dealership experience.
• Must have strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repair work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to identify issues.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor regarding needed additional repairs and time estimates.
• Perform repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
