Job summary

Findlay Volkswagen Henderson in Nevada is seeking experienced, journeyman Automotive Technicians to support a high-volume service department. You will diagnose, repair, and test engines, transmissions, electrical systems, brakes, and A/C, coordinating with the Service Advisor to estimate times and inform customers.

Qualifications

• Certifications and prior experience at an automotive dealership.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency per dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components/systems using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional repairs and estimated times.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• CERTIFICATIONS & previous experience at an automotive dealership
• Strong teamwork skills
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record
