Job summary

Findlay Toyota in Henderson, NV is seeking experienced, journeyman automotive technicians to support a booming service department. Join a high-volume shop with strong demand and opportunities to work on a wide range of vehicles.

You will diagnose, repair and test automotive systems, communicate with service advisors, and uphold manufacturer specifications. We offer competitive compensation, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and paid vacations.

Qualifications

• Certifications and previous experience at an automotive dealership.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional repairs and provide time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
