Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill is seeking a Drinking Water Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects for municipal and industrial clients. You will plan, design, evaluate, and deliver solutions for safe, reliable drinking water systems, with emphasis on PFAS treatment and regulatory compliance.

The role offers hybrid work and opportunities to mentor junior staff while engaging with clients and regulatory agencies. A PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or a related engineering discipline.
• PE license required or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in drinking water planning, design, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle of drinking water projects, including distribution, storage, booster stations, and treatment facilities.
• Oversee planning and design for water storage infrastructure (elevated tanks, ground reservoirs, clearwells).
• Evaluate PFAS and other contaminants; design using GAC, ion exchange, membranes.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, master planning, and service line inventories.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and client deliverables.
• Coordinate with regulators and support permitting efforts; engage stakeholders.
• Provide construction-phase support and mentoring to junior staff.
