Job summary

Fuss & O'Neill in Massachusetts seeks a Drinking Water Project Manager to lead complex water infrastructure projects for municipal and industrial clients. You will plan, evaluate, design, and implement water distribution and treatment systems, addressing PFAS and emerging contaminants with advanced technologies.

You will mentor staff, engage with clients and regulators, and contribute to business development while delivering high-quality, on-time results in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in drinking water system planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in water distribution hydraulics and modeling tools (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, EPANET).
• Familiarity with PFAS treatment technologies and evolving regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of drinking water projects (distribution, storage, boosters, treatment).
• Oversee planning and design for water storage infrastructure (elevated tanks, reservoirs, clearwells).
• Evaluate and design PFAS treatment solutions and other emerging contaminants.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, system capacity analyses, master planning, and service line replacement programs.
• Prepare and present technical reports, plans, specs, cost estimates, and client deliverables.
