Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in drinking water system planning, design, and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong expertise in water distribution hydraulics and modeling tools (WaterGEMS, InfoWater, EPANET).
  • Experience with water storage system design and coordination with structural/operational considerations.
  • Familiarity with PFAS treatment technologies and evolving regulatory frameworks.
  • Knowledge of water treatment processes including filtration and disinfection.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of drinking water projects, including distribution systems, storage facilities, boosters, and treatment plants.
  • Oversee planning and design for water storage infrastructure ensuring long-term reliability.
  • Evaluate and design PFAS treatment solutions using GAC, ion exchange, and membrane systems.
  • Conduct hydraulic modeling, system capacity analyses, and master planning.
  • Perform water quality assessments and support regulatory compliance.
  • Manage project teams, scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Prepare technical reports, plans/specifications, and client deliverables.
