Job summary

Helmerich and Payne is seeking a Software Support & Sustaining Engineer in Tulsa, OK. The role involves serving as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams, troubleshooting production software, and driving issues to resolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoscience, Information Technology, or related discipline.
3+ years in software support, software engineering, QA, testing, or related technical role.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

Serve as first point of contact for customer-reported incidents and enhancements in H&P software products.
Provide timely responses and resolutions following SLAs; collaborate with ROCs and internal teams.
Reproduce defects, perform root cause analysis, and document findings in tracking systems.
Contribute to test automation, UAT, and feature verification; advocate for quality improvements.
