Job summary

Patterson-UTI is hiring for a rig crew role on a 14 days on/14 days off rotation. You will perform heavy lifting, housekeeping on the drilling floor, and assist with rig moves. The position requires use of PPE, safe handling of drill pipes, and teamwork in a demanding outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of stable work history.
• Willingness to travel and work long shifts.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lift and place slips weighing ~150 pounds with another person.
• General upkeep of the rig and drilling floor including housekeeping duties.
• Use iron roughneck, slips, and tongs to handle drill pipe.
• Assist in rig moves and prepare new locations.
• Inspect safety equipment and PPE for wear and replace as needed.
• Assist with routine maintenance on equipment and motors.
