Job summary

Environmental Works is seeking a Drilling Operator to conduct drilling and remediation tasks across multiple sites in the United States. The role involves rig operation, sample collection, and strict adherence to OSHA and safety protocols.

The successful candidate will have a Class A CDL, Geoprobe 3230 experience, and a HS diploma or GED, with ability to travel and work long hours in varied environments. Opportunities for development and safety training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be literate with the ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and posted schedules.
• Knowledge of care and basic maintenance for tools, vehicles, and equipment.
• Must not fear heights or confined spaces.
• Requires time management, personal conduct, and ability to adapt to change.
• Able to interact with coworkers, clients, vendors, and other contacts.
• HAZWOPPER familiarity is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot small diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Able to interpret written and oral instructions and assignments.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous physical labor on drilling activities, including rig operation and sample collection.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and site safety plans while cleaning up and wearing protective gear.
• Operate drilling rigs (Geoprobe 3230, Air Rotary, Sonic) and inspect equipment.
• Complete and file detailed time, drill, and maintenance records.
• Travel up to 10 days at a time; work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
