Job summary

Environmental Works is seeking an Environmental Driller Assistant to support drilling and remediation operations at various project sites. The role includes operating drilling rigs, collecting soil and groundwater samples, and performing routine equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL-A, a high school diploma or GED, and HAZWOPER certification. Travel up to 50% is required, with some out-of-town assignments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous physical labor associated with drilling activities.
• Follow safety rules, site safety plans, and PPE requirements.
• Be knowledgeable of DOT CDL Class A regulations for driving.
• Assist with operation of drilling rigs (Geoprobes, Air Rotary, Sonic).
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on drilling rigs and equipment.
• Travel up to 50% via company vehicle.
