The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of industry experience, with hands-on laboratory work and field problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical) or a related science.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in oil and gas.
• Strong understanding of drilling mechanics, formation properties, and fluid rheology.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage drilling fluid programs for well objectives and geology.
• Test drilling fluid properties (viscosity, density, filtration) and adjust formulations.
• Troubleshoot issues like lost circulation, stuck pipe, and formation damage.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain records of fluid properties, performance, and costs.
• Collaborate with drilling engineers and rig personnel to optimize fluid performance.
