Job summary

Oxy seeks an experienced Expert IT Infrastructure - Field Network to support its Permian Operations across production sites, Drilling, facilities and remote offices with reliable connectivity for critical systems.

The role requires hands-on expertise in routing, switching, wireless, LTE, fiber, and related technologies, plus the ability to travel to field locations and provide after-hours support as needed.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience supporting, installing, maintaining, or troubleshooting enterprise network and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Experience with routing, switching, wireless, telecommunications, fiber, LTE, microwave, SCADA, industrial networking, or related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues and restore services safely and efficiently.
• Experience working with field operations personnel, vendors, contractors, and business stakeholders.
• Strong incident management, change management, and operational support processes.

Responsibilities

• Support safe operations and protect people, environment, and communities.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support field network infrastructure across sites.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and service restoration for network and connectivity issues.
• Provide on-site and remote support for field offices, remote locations, and facilities.
• Coordinate with multiple teams and vendors to resolve incidents.
• Use ITSM processes to manage incidents, changes and problems.
