Job summary

OXY, Inc. is seeking an experienced Drilling Engineer in Houston, TX to drive the deployment of Delta digital tools within the World Wide Drilling and Completions organization.

The role bridges technical development and operations, delivering deployment success, user training, and long-term value across multiple units. Key responsibilities include deploying tools domestically and internationally, training staff on tool usage, engaging with internal customers, and coordinating change management

Qualifications

• Hands-on field experience in well construction supervision.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and build trust across diverse teams and cultures.
• Experience with deploying and scaling technology solutions in oil and gas.

Responsibilities

• Deployment and implementation: deploy digital tools across domestic and international units.
• User training: conduct on-site hands-on training sessions for D&C staff.
• Customer engagement: build relationships with internal customers and collect feedback.
• Change management: collaborate with regional champions to embed tools into workflows.
• Reporting: regularly report progress and key metrics to leadership.
