Job summary

SLB seeks a WEC Drilling Engineer to join the PSD team, delivering optimized technical job designs and real-time support for safe, efficient service delivery. You will identify improvement opportunities, apply lessons learned, and assist in risk management to enhance job design.

This role requires support across Product Lines and collaboration with subject matter experts. Candidates should hold a STEM degree (Masters or Bachelors) with direct O&G drilling experience and must have the right to

Qualifications

Masters or Bachelors in STEM Field.
O&G Direct Related Drilling Experience Required.
Right to work in the US; no VISA sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Develop technical job designs as required for the Product Line.
Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
Provide technical support throughout the service delivery process.
Understand and communicate value of technology and interpretations.
Consult with subject matter experts to optimize the technical design.
Support PSD execution with design changes due to job dimensions or resource changes.
Assist in incident response, recovery, and incident investigation.
Support multiple Product Line operations in a collaborative optimized job design.
Assist sales and commercial team in evaluating technical viability and tenders.
Analyze job execution vs. design and capture improvements (lessons learned).
