Job summary

SLB is seeking a WEC Drilling Engineer to develop optimized technical job designs, deliver real-time support to PSD operations, and drive safe, efficient service delivery for customers.

You will identify opportunities for continuous improvement, communicate findings clearly, and apply lessons learned to improve job design, reliability, and cost efficiency across multiple Product Line operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in drilling engineering, well construction, or related operations.
• Proven ability to design and optimize technical jobs and improve delivery.
• Experience evaluating performance, troubleshooting, applying lessons learned.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical job designs for the Product Line.
• Identify areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
• Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
• Provide technical support throughout the service delivery process.
• Understand and communicate the value of technology and interpretations.
• Consult with subject matter experts to optimize the design.
• Support PSD/Manager in execution with design changes due to changes in job dimensions, resource availability, or incidents.
• Assist in incident response, recovery, and investigation.
• Support multiple Product Line operations in collaborative, optimized job design.
• Assist sales in evaluating technical viability and tenders.
• Analyze job execution vs. design and capture design improvements and lessons learned.
