Job summary
Maine Drilling & Blasting in the United States is seeking a Driller Trainee-Construction to learn the drilling and blasting industry with a stable, employee-owned company. You will operate heavy equipment, learn drill patterns, and work under supervision. Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour plus a $150 weekly travel allowance. Candidates must be safety-minded, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel and work overtime.
Qualifications
Experience as construction laborer is beneficial.
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
Must hold a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
Background screening for ATF required.
Responsibilities
Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation of assigned equipment.
Adhere to Safety Policies and Procedures.
Learn drill patterns and terminology and execute patterns as directed by the Blaster Foreman.
Inventory accessories and understand maintenance needs and costs.
Communicate problems and terrain conditions to the Blaster/Foreman.
