Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting in the United States is seeking a Driller Trainee-Construction to learn the drilling and blasting industry with a stable, employee-owned company. You will operate heavy equipment, learn drill patterns, and work under supervision. Starting pay is $20–$22 per hour plus a $150 weekly travel allowance. Candidates must be safety-minded, hold a valid driver's license, and be willing to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience as construction laborer is beneficial.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license with own transportation.
• Background screening for ATF required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance for safe, efficient operation of assigned equipment.
• Adhere to Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Learn drill patterns and terminology and execute patterns as directed by the Blaster Foreman.
• Inventory accessories and understand maintenance needs and costs.
• Communicate problems and terrain conditions to the Blaster/Foreman.
