Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting (MD&B) is hiring for an equipment operator with experience operating heavy construction equipment. You will be responsible for safety, equipment maintenance, and following drill patterns under the Blaster Foreman’s guidance.

We offer an ESOP‑owned environment, a traditional 401(k), and comprehensive health benefits. Hourly rate ranges from $20 to $22, with travel stipends for out‑of‑town assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must successfully complete a background screening for ATF.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn drill patterns and machinery under supervision.
• Maintain safety and perform daily maintenance on equipment.
• Handle out-of-town travel and overtime as required.
• Complete paperwork such as drill reports and hole sheets accurately.
