Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Driller Assistant in Kansas City, KS to support drilling operations, log samples, prepare tooling, and assist with site setup and cleanup. The role involves working with the Driller on soil drilling, rock coring, sampling, and monitoring well installations across field sites.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, up to 1 year of driller helper experience, the ability to travel up to 60%, and the physical stamina to lift 30–50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year Driller Helper/Assistant experience.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller to load / unload augers and assemble / disassemble augers.
• Prepare tooling and supplies for the day’s tasks.
• Assist with the location of boring locations.
• Retrieve and log samples.
• Clean / maintain equipment and perform site clean up.

Skills

Valid driver's license

Ability to travel up to 60%

Ability to lift 30–50 pounds

Overnight hours availability
