EWI Recruitment seeks an experienced Drilled Shafts Superintendent to oversee safe, efficient delivery of drilled shaft and deep foundation work on major civil projects. You will provide field leadership across all phases, from site prep to testing and demobilisation, ensuring quality and on-time performance.

The role requires strong production planning, coordination of cranes, drill rigs, slurry systems, and crews, plus meticulous records of quantities, inspections, delays, and testing.

Competenze

• Substantial experience supervising drilled shaft, piling, foundations, or comparable heavy civil construction activities.
• Sound knowledge of drilling methods, temporary casing, slurry systems, reinforcement cages, concrete placement, shaft integrity testing, and quality documentation.
• Relevant trade, technical, or construction qualification is advantageous; recognised health and safety certifications and current site credentials are beneficial.

Mansioni

• Supervise forepersons, operators, labourers, subcontractors, and testing personnel.
• Review plans, specifications, geotechnical information, and method statements; develop daily work plans.
• Coordinate cranes, drill rigs, concrete deliveries, pumps, survey teams, and site logistics.
• Maintain accurate records of quantities, production, inspections, testing, and delays.
• Identify and resolve technical or operational issues; ensure compliance with procedures, environmental requirements and legislation.
