Job summary

Irby Construction Company is seeking a Drilled Shaft Operator to provide experienced drilled pier installation for foundation projects. The role requires operating mounted rigs, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety standards on diverse sites.

This position is tied to projects in GA, with a culture that prioritizes people and safety. You will mentor team members, complete field reports, and support concrete finishing as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in drilled shaft installation.
• Experience with Stub Angle/Helical Pile installation preferred.
• Must pass background check and have clean driving record.
• Commercial Driver License Class A required.
• OSHA 10 ETD preferred.
• First Aid/CPR preferred.
• Ability to read and follow safety and maintenance instructions.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to safety regulations and reports violations.
• Operates drilling units and equipment safely and effectively.
• Maintains equipment and tools for long-lasting use.
• Drills holes for concrete pier and footing foundations.
• Operates excavator-mounted rigs and handles bore operations.
• Completes field paperwork and reports.
