Job summary

Geater Machining & Manufacturing, Co. seeks a Drill Press Department Supervisor to lead a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will supervise operators, coordinate scheduling, optimize resources, and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

Strong leadership, manufacturing knowledge, and ERP proficiency are required; a two-year degree and 3–5 years related experience are preferred. We offer shift premiums, bonus opportunities, 401K match, profit sharing, tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and an AA in manufacturing with 3–5 years in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in management preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate workers operating various machines to maximize productivity.
• Promote lean principles and coordinate dispatch lists and routing within the department.
• Schedule employee hours based on workload and optimize resources.
• Interpret policies, enforce safety regulations, and train staff with HR.
• Identify and implement improvements to methods, equipment, and quality.
• Coordinate with other supervisors and managers on cross-department activities.
• Demonstrate ERP proficiency and support training needs.
• Conduct timely employee evaluations and support recruitment efforts.
