Job summary

Peabody is seeking a Drill and Blast Production Technician at the North Complex (Caballo) in Gillette, WY. The role involves safe operation of heavy mining equipment and performing pre-operational inspections to ensure productive and efficient performance.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Blasting License required for Drill and Blast Production Technician.
• Two+ years of drill operation experience (single pass, DMM2/DMM3 or PV275).

Responsibilities

• Visibly support and champion Peabody’s Mission and Values.

• Operate Haul Trucks, Scrapers, Dozers, Loaders, Drills, Shovels and Draglines as assigned.
• Conduct monthly safety observations and safety interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the company.
