R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a DRG Associate Auditor (Analyst) in the United States. You will validate DRG changes and potential reimbursements, documenting evidence-based recommendations and pre-screening cases for the DRG Validation Auditing Team.

The role requires recent acute inpatient coding experience, an AHIMA credential (RHIA/RHIT/CCS), and proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Formación

• 4+ years of ICD-10 coding and DRG reimbursement experience.
• Recent acute inpatient coding experience.
• Current AHIMA credential such as RHIA, RHIT, or CCS.
• Experience with multiple EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing responsibilities.
• Results-driven, collaborative team player.

Responsabilidades

• Validate coding updates impacting DRG on a claim and potential reimbursement or education for the client.
• Provide detailed rationale and supporting evidence for recommendations.
• Utilize industry references to support findings.
• Audit a specific rule set and pre-screen opportunities for the DRG Validation Auditing Team.
