Job summary

DreamWorks Animation seeks a Full Time Asset Management Technician for the Digital Operations department in Glendale, CA. The role focuses on setting up and maintaining hardware, tracking assets, and delivering reliable IT support to staff.

You'll install software, manage inventory, and work with SCCM/Jamf, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office to keep technology assets organized. A collaborative, customer‑minded approach helps you excel in a fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

  • Proficient with Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Basic to intermediate hardware/software troubleshooting skills.
  • Good mechanical ability and knowledge of computer hardware components.
  • Detail oriented with a drive to learn and grow technically.
  • Works well in a team or independently with strong organization.
  • Flexible schedule to support nights and weekends occasionally.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
  • Excellent user support skills.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up, installation and relocation of computer workstations, desktops, laptops and related hardware.
  • Performs software installation deskside and via remote tools.
  • Assists with organization and cabling of technology equipment and computer setups.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service to staff at all levels.
  • Conduct daily physical inventory of assets and update the Asset tracking Database.
  • Maintain a positive, helpful attitude while resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ensure assets are tracked and cataloged with timely ticket updates.

Job Description
  • Setting up, installation and relocation of computer workstations, desktops, laptops and other technology hardware.
  • Performs software installation deskside and using remote tools.
  • Assists with organization and cabling of technology equipment, computer setups.
  • Provide excellent communication and customer service with the ability to provide professional, courteous and effective support to staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Conducts daily physical inventory of assets and updates to the Asset tracking Database.
  • Demonstrate commitment to resolving issues efficiently while maintaining a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Ensures assets are tracked and cataloged with timely ticket tracking updates of ongoing work.
Qualifications
  • Proficient with electronics and computer knowledge is necessary; Windows, Mac, and Linux/Unix OS experience.

Salary Range

$62,000 - $70,000
