Job summary

Boeing South Carolina is seeking Airplane Equipment Installation Design Engineers at Associate, Experienced or Senior levels to join the Equipment Installation team in North Charleston, SC. You will design and develop electrical equipment installations, including racks, panels and cable routing, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Candidates should have a BS in engineering and 2+ years with wire design/harness installation and CAD tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks or NX.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (focus mechanical, aeronautical or electrical) or related field.
2+ years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation or equipment installation.
2+ years of experience with CAD tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry).
Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs; assist with engineering dispositions.
Follow documented processes to support design and manufacture of electrical commodities.
Collect data to support statements of work and data gathering of supplier capabilities.
Review input used in integration design and system architecture.
Work under general direction.
