Job summary

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Drayage Supervisor to join our team in Ruther Glen, Virginia. The role manages day-to-day supply chain needs supporting nationwide imports, with emphasis on carrier and broker coordination and KPI-driven improvements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in grocery or cold chain sectors at a level above manager, experience managing carriers and brokers, and strong leadership to build a world-class supply chain team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of grocery or cold chain experience at a level above manager.
• Experience managing carriers and brokers in the transportation market.
• Experience in cold chain management for both warehouse and transportation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) is a plus.
• Experience mentoring and developing team members.
• Experience as a Drayage Supervisor or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement processes supporting supply chain needs, including PO and inventory capacity planning.
• Coordinate with operations to maintain capacity levels and drive KPI improvements.
• Manage PO impacts on inventory to avoid over-capacity.
• Utilize PO management tracking for domestic produce vendors, mixing centers, imports and shipments.
• Design and implement planning for warehouses using portal systems and tracking metrics.
• Lead a world-class supply chain team meeting transportation and warehouse needs.
• Negotiate and communicate with carriers, vendors, and operations.
