Job summary

ITW Hobart Brothers, a leading welding consumables manufacturer, is seeking a Safety-conscious Draw Bench Operator to join our team in Ohio. You will read micrometers, perform quality checks, and maintain process documentation to ensure high-value products meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up the draw bench, changing over tooling, tracking run changes, limiting downtime, and coordinating with Team Leads and Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a draw bench preferred.
• Ability to meet production rates and quality standards.
• Able to lift approx. 65 pounds and maintain safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely and identify/correct unsafe situations.
• Follow work instructions and process specifications for setup.
• Read micrometers and perform routine quality checks.
• Enter quality checks into Route Card and flag nonconformities.
• Monitor draw bench and report maintenance issues.
• Coordinate with PCs, Team Leads, Process Techs, and Maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping to meet expectations.
• Willing to operate other equipment if needed.
