Job summary

Hobart Brothers LLC, an ITW company, is seeking a Draw Bench Operator to safely run draw benches, set up equipment per instructions, and perform quality checks. The role requires lifting up to 65 pounds, meeting production rates, and maintaining a strong safety and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities include documenting quality checks, changing over tooling, and coordinating with maintenance and leads to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience with draw benches preferred.
• Able to lift roughly 65 pounds continually.
• Able to meet production rates.
• Excellent attitude, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Possess a good safety and attendance record.
• Willing to operate other equipment if needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate draw benches safely and ensure high value and performance.
• Follow work instructions and process specs for machine setup and production.
• Track drawbench changeovers and complete setup/changeovers promptly.
• Read micrometers and perform routine quality checks/visual inspections.
• Enter quality checks into Route Card and place nonconforming products on hold.
• Monitor the draw bench to ensure production of quality product and report maintenance issues.
• Communicate with PCs, Team Leads, Process Techs, Maintenance, etc.
• Perform housekeeping to meet expectations and comply with safety standards.
