Job summary

IBM Research seeks a highly experienced DRAM Process Technologist to define and develop advanced DRAM process technologies. This role focuses on technology pathfinding, unit process innovation, and materials engineering across critical semiconductor manufacturing modules.

The successful candidate will lead efforts to identify, evaluate, and mature DRAM technologies for future roadmaps, collaborating with integration, metrology, reliability, and modeling teams to optimize device performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of DRAM technology development experience.
• 8+ years of semiconductor process development experience in unit processes (etch, deposition, CMP, implant, or thermal).
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and materials science.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, modeling, and data-driven problem solving.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and communicate with stakeholders.
